在歐洲這麼輕鬆地就從一國旅行到另外一國。斯洛伐克南邊鄰匈牙利，是個人口約五百萬人、面積約四萬九千平方公里的小國家。
In Europe it is a piece of cake to travel from one country to another. Slovakia is bordered by Hungary to the south. It is a small country with a population of 5 million and an area of about 49,000 square kilometers.
這裡的生活比匈牙利簡樸，但人民工作辛勤，斯洛伐克已於2009年加入歐元區，曾統治他們的匈牙利人卻還未能達成此目標。放假的新年日，我們只是開車在邊境繞繞，卻不斷看到迎面而來的公車。
Life here is simpler than that in Hungary, but people work much harder. Slovakia joined the Eurozone on Jan. 1, 2009. However, Hungarians, who used to be their rulers, can't make it yet. On New Year's Day, which is a holiday, we drove around the border, but on the road we saw three buses within a few minutes coming from the other direction.
