Yesterday was the first rainy day I had after coming to London. There was a wet and chilly feel in the air.
When we go to new places, our clothing style will change for us to get used to new climates and new identities. Now, to exude the charm of a "young" lady, I have to redefine myself through clothes. Putting on new tights given by Mom, I started another day's journey with warmth.
I took a leisurely walk in the courtyard, looking for different scenery.
I climbed to the fourth floor to see my new friend Jazel, and I found by accident that the view from a higher level is totally different from mine.
My knees are doing pretty well now, which is a sign saying that they like London. Thank you all for your concern!
On my way back to the room after I signed for the parcel, Joey uttered with envy: You've got a parcel! I answered like a proud queen, "Yeah, I've got mail every day." In fact, the letters for the past few days were all from the bank.
Shaggy's earmuffs were my sunshine on the first rainy day!
