Keep calm and carry on / 冷靜,撐下去

I've learned the motto for the Brits to remain elegant and polite is: Keep calm and carry on. And one of the secrets to keeping calm is markets that hide in several corners of the city. One day on our walk from Tower of London to the Tate Modern, we came across Borough Market, where stalls of every sort of food can be found. On a Friday afternoon, even office workers in suits couldn't resist being part of the crowd.

As for Portobello Market located in Notting Hill, it is famous especially for the movie Notting Hill. Such a place can be rather tempting even for someone so disciplined as me.

My day at Portobello Market was quite fruitful. I tasted fried fish and chips here for the first time and also bought a hat. My very grand excuse was: I gotta find a way to mingle with the Brits!
