On the day before leaving for Paris, I had rash all over my body. It was quite tormenting. However, since I'd never really thought of London as my permanent home, it didn't occur to me to explore the pharmacies here. I believed that it would go away sooner or later. I thus left for my spring trip.
This spring in Europe is super agreeable. It seems to be quite sunny in Paris as well.
I haven't spoken French for ages, but the rash is killing me. Besides, I frequented pharmacies during my previous stays in France, so I'd rather get prescriptions in Paris rather than in London.
春天 / Spring
Spring in Paris is warm and colorful.
At noon office workers go to parks for some sunshine, so it's hard to get a empty bench.
This is the very beautiful Square Louis XIII. Both tourists and locals enjoy basking in the sunlight here.
水 / water
聖馬丁運河 / St. Martin Canal
My hotel is located near St. Martin Canal. I've wanted to visit the site for long because of the famous film Amelie by Audrey Tautou. It's by far from grand, but I spend a whole morning sitting on the bank drawing and enjoy serene daily life in Paris.
There are traces of Parisians' romanticism everywhere in the city.
The color of new leaves is fresh lime green.
塞納河 / La Seine
I visited Paris on sunny days before, but after an interval of eight years, I still find the city super charming.
The riverscape is so lovely that I can't help sitting down to draw.
People take a sunbath right in the city.
Eiffel Tower in the distance.
I have sent out all the hand-drawn postcards. Guess which one you will get.
The riverscape in the evening is even more attractive.
