I can't miss the opportunity of going out for fun on a sunny Saturday. I say hello to Yellow on my way to the bus stop.
On the bus ride I run into an old man. As soon as he gets on the bus, he declares the news in a very mysterious manner: There won't be train or bus service tomorrow. You know why? Because there'll be snow tonight! He says it as if the end of the world is coming, which makes me plan to do some grocery shopping this coming evening.
Today my destination is Greenwich. Right, it's the Greenwich in "Greenwich Mean Time." It is located in south of London. But this part of the city has a long history and its own style. I can't help hopping off the bus upon seeing the open air market on Saturday.
Visitors take their time on the weekend.
The Brits do have a passion for quizzes!
The following scenes are rather surrealistic. Pay attention!
Though I have no idea what activity this is, I have to admit that the birds are super cute!
There are many fish-and-chip places in Greenwich. According to my secret observation as an unofficial Michelin spy, this one is especially popular.
I have had constant cravings for chips lately. Luckily I do not really eat them. I bet I'll become very unhealthy if I live here for too long.
Lovely window display.
Why are there unceasing temptations in life?
Visiting Greenwich Market is the highlight of my outing today.
A rose in this small florist's costs 3.75 quids, but the flowers are super beautiful.
Greenwich Market is not huge. You can find paintings, handicrafted artworks, accessories, jewels and food-to-go there.
These works are lovely, but my heart always goes to the food...
I take several shots of the vendor, so in the end he gives me a generous smile. However, I am not aware of that until I go through the photos at home. Though taking pictures records the memories for me, I miss the moments often...
The mini-van of hot drinks.
On a freezing day below 0 Celsius degree, this is the most comforting picture...
In the end I decide to try this Sicilian fried rice ball with chicken and cheese inside. Well, not very impressive...
We do envy him right?

Wow! What a synchronisation of our thoughts! Yesterday I was there too :)
Tatiana: Really? I enjoyed my trip a lot. Did you?
sure! it's one of my favorite places here in London. Especially when it's warmer )) That's so nice to see it through your eyes: same place, different accents
