The collection of Elizabeth Bishop's poetry has accompanied me for almost ten years. When I was studying in Rochester, my favorite course was Bishop's poetry. She always narrates major topics in life in a nonchalant tone, but the reader can feel waves of emotion behind her carefully-chosen words. When my heart seeks for peace, I turn to Bishop's works because they never fail to calm me down. Because I like her poems too much, I made a little book for the famous poem One Art.

這種豁達的想法,人生變得很開濶,很輕盈,雖然我也想要奉行這種態度,不過作起來真的很不容易,昨天看到有個人身上的衣服有一句話說得好:Play the game! Everybody must learn to lose.
可是我覺得她把沉重藏在輕盈的字面下呢！
我最近好像瘋了，每天回家都想要做一本小書，結果把自己弄得太興奮，睡也睡不好，真的是瘋狂藝術家！

也要讓我的學生們來做做自己的小書!

I have one of "the selected poems of E. Bishop" with me beside the bed. ^_^
Don't you find Bishop's poems really comforting? Anyway, when I am restless, I turn to her poetry and eventually find mental peace...
Shame on me. though I have a copy of Bishop's poems, yet, I didn't study her work that carefully. but I do enjoy go through few lines before bed from time to time then.
