Hi everyone, thank you for your nice comments. This was actually one little boy we met in Kuta, Bali. He was on his way home, and he didn't seem interested in letting us take a photo of him. Well, I still got his back shot:-). I added the sea scene myself. My desire to do this painting actually originated from wanting to cover the terrible previous painting on it I had done half a year ago. It looks like I have made some progress with time passing;-). The medium is acrylic.
I have been greatly drawn to the red color lately. This must have something to do with Chinese New Year...
Well, I wish I didn't have to go back to work. I'd love to stay home and paint all the time. But acrylics are expensive. I have to earn my living so that I can afford to buy acrylics:-).
