I've been hearing friends and relatives say, "Oh, I visited your blog..." I always thought that I had only some very faithful readers. Other people drop by occasionally either by accident or just to thank me for visiting their websites. However, when more and more people say the same thing to me, I can't help asking myself the question, "How many invisible readers do I have?"
I don't like gossiping. Neither am I good at sharing my most intimate secrets. Oftentimes I am too lazy to attract strangers' attention. My loner and perfectionist personality is realistically reflected in the cyberspace. If I were the only person that was aware of the existence of my little blog, I think that'd be quite understandable. I am curious about the reason why you keep coming back.
A few days ago, I went to National Ching-hua University to wrap up my second exhibition. Some very nice students and teachers left their messages in my book. There might not be many messages or many words, but they let me know that I made a difference in their lives, no matter how slight. I am not sure if they'll get a chance to read this post, yet I'd like to express my heart-felt thanks.
Dear readers, I want to say to you: I'm still so far from my dream. I hardly despair, but I don't know when I'll make it. I only know that my efforts'll never suffice. My life is enriched because of struggles, anticipation, failure and new determination. I don't care how you got to know me and why you keep coming back. I just want to say "thank you" because you make my art more colorful.
This thank-you card was inspired by my faithful reader Little Kim. Every heart represents sincere gratitude. I made two versions and I hope you guys'll love them.

Officially I am on a blog break but I occasionally read the blogs on my blogroll - and yes, I put your blog up there if you don´t mind, because I do like to stop by every now and then to enter your little universe. :) I think I am in general drawn to blogs that tell stories in unique ways. Where you feel the personality behind the entries. And it doesn´t matter that I don´t know much about you as a person (or that you don´t gossip), because with true art those things are not important. Character is the invisible but audible part of the art.
Thank you, too!
I am also one of the "submerging" readers... This seems to be perfect timing to come out and say "thank you" again for the beautiful paintings that you've created!
Thank you everyone. Your words mean a lot to me:-).
Cristosova: Thanks! I'd love to be on your blogroll and I think you know that I like your art a lot too! Thank you for dropping by from time to time!
Hi!
I don't think you need to have MSN account... just leave your names would be ok
Hi! Miragee,
I think I know what the problem is. You need to sign in using a MSN account (probably set up a new one), but you can choose not to use your profile. just uncheck it and type in your name.
MSN can be quite annoying these days...
