Your illustrations are really great.Keep up the wonderful creative work that you are doing ! :) Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting on my art works.
I am so struck with the detail here -- the clock, the MacDonalds store front, each person encountered seems to have a real face -- nothing lost in the crowd.
Sheri: It's a pleasure to look at your paintings. Thank you for coming to my blog too!
Robin: The passers-by start to play significant roles in the story. Besides, I seem to be more into the realistic style for this comic strip. I do have to say that it's quite exhausting to pay attention to so many details. However, it's fun still. It's always fun to be able to paint what I have on mind...
Because of harlequinpan's comment, I caught something I haven't been paying attention to in the first place: that is 書林! It is a wonder how you can miss something you were so familiar with. We had to buy novels and anthologies from the bookstore as an undergrad every semester (part of being a student from 外文系)!
We recently had a chance to go visit NTU, and it really changed a lot! But that illustration of MCD really brought back a lot of memory!
Yes, you are working so hard. Incredibly rich drawings, I like all the different perspectives. I am in suspense and may have to edit my version of your story.
hey miragee :) I'm glad I decided to come back to have a look as I've not seen your illos for a while now. Your narrative strips are wonderful, and the details in this piece is just so detailed, both in what can and cannot be seen.
Calli: Now I am getting more and more curious about your version of the story. I think I'll wrap the whole thing up this week, and then please tell me your story!
Constance: Thank you for coming. I guess I am too much into my own projects that I do not participate in Illo Fri anymore. I can only say that I am really addicted to the comic strip form now!
