I think young Miragree opened her window one morning after listening to the beautiful haunting melody of someone whistling outside. She looked down between the trees to see a young lad caught up in the dreams of his own private world. After this, both cannot help thinking of each other while studying, eating dinner, walking the dog...

is it like the greek myth where the narcissus happens to catch his own reflection in the water and falls in love with it? so the so called "secret love crush" has another meaning... (since Miss Miragee wants us to interpret the painting... this might be overinterpretation...)
