我真是把「回顧」之旅發揮得淋漓盡致，一到牛津就去了彼茲河博物館。八個月前來這裡校外教學過，

Well, my "review" trip really lived up to its name. As soon as we arrived in London, we headed straight for Pitts River Museum. I went on a field trip here for a sketching lesson eight months ago.
I am on very good terms with the dodo bird specimen in the hall.

Nana and Jazel were obsessed with the huge dinosaurs so they asked me how come I hadn't drawn it back then.
博物館是牛津大學的一部份，收藏人類學和考古學方面的珍品。因為收藏眾多，空間有限，人類學廳擺設密集，不過有好多奇奇怪怪的玩意，最驚人的就是部落擄獲敵人人頭之後，用藥水把它縮小，透過玻璃，那毛骨悚然的眼睛就這樣盯著我們看‧‧‧
Pitts River Museum belongs to University of Oxford, containing collections in anthropology and archaeology. Because of its numerous treasures and limited space, the back hall (of anthropology) is crammed with cabinets packed with all sorts of funny stuff. The most amazing one is a mini-head shrunk by chemicals after the owner was captured and beheaded by a certain tribe. When we looked at it through the window glass, it stared back with its creepy eyes...
像劍橋一樣，牛津大學的建築散落在中心，這是圖書館。
Like Cambridge, the buildings of University of Oxford scatters in the city centre. This is the library.
建築有很多小細節，例如怪獸樣的滴水嘴。
There are many architectural details such as gargoyles.
導遊小惇說牛津學生競爭很激烈，大家非常用功。這是考試院，門上描繪學生畢業的場景。
Our guide Duen-wei told us that students are very hard-working because of the keen competitions. This is the exam hall. On the facade you can see how students are awarded degrees upon graduation.
我終於如願吃到「星期日烤肉大餐」，我點的豬肉配蘋果醬，但為了控管身材，我點了兒童餐。
I finally got to eat Sunday Roast. I ordered pork to go with apple sauce. For the sake of my figure, I had children's meal.

How could we forget beer?
這裡有些酒吧很古早，天花板特別低，不過在下雨天特別舒適溫馨。
Some bars in Oxford can be dated back to a long time ago. The ceiling is quite low. However, it's pretty cosy and warm on rainy days.
來到牛津一定要參觀學院，莫林學院建於1458年，是牛津大學裡最有錢、最美麗的一所。著名作家王爾德和路易斯都是這所學院的學生。
You can't come to Oxford without visiting the colleges. Founded in 1458, Magdalen College is the wealthiest and the most beautiful one. The famous attendees include Oscar Wilde and C.S. Lewis.
學院都有自己的教堂。
Each college has its own chapel.
還可以幫身邊的人祈禱。
Students can pray for people around them.
夏天學生在草地上打板球。
Students play cricket on the lawn in summer.
莫林學院也有專屬的鹿園。
Magdalen College owns its deer park as well.
連河也都是學院裡的風景喔！
Even the river is part of the college.
心靈不平靜時可以到小花園坐坐。
The small garden provides a quiet haven for the lodgers.
基督教堂學院建於1525年，是最大且最多訪客的學院。
Established in 1525, Christ Church is the largest and most visited college.
哈利波特電影中的大食堂便取材於此院的餐廳，電影中也出現真正在這裡拍攝的場景。
The Great Hall in the college inspired the set of Hogwarts in
Harry Potter. Actual scenes were also filmed here.
學院牆上的紀念碑獻給奉獻一生服務於學院的小人物。
The memorial stones on the walls are dedicated to ordinary people that committed their life to the college.

The Cathedral of Christ Church is the official cathedral for the diocese of Oxfordshire. It has been Oxford's Anglican Cathedral since the reign of Henry VIII.

我們在大學學院用正式晚餐，身邊盡是打扮正式的年輕人，他們還披上學袍，感覺非常隆重。
We had formal dinner in the hall of University college. We were surrounded by smartly-dressed young people. Most of them put on their gowns. It felt really like being in the serious academic circle.
每間學院都聘有大廚，大學學院每週二四日的正式晚餐也有侍者幫忙。
Every college employs their own chefs. In University College, extra hands are hired to serve on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday for the formal dinner.
前菜是蘆筍、甜菜根佐希臘軟起司。
The appetizer was asparagus, beetroot and feta salad.
主菜是雞胸肉、甜奶油馬鈴薯、醋味蔬菜佐瑪蒂拉醬。
The main course was breast of chicken, fondant potato, turned vegetables and Madeira Jus.
甜點是覆盆子起司蛋糕。
The dessert was raspberry cheesecake.
